About Stormap

Stormap is a side project by one person: an engineer who likes building small tools on weekends. There's no team, no investors and no office. If you email, the same person who wrote the code reads it.

What's here

Idea Bubbles is the main thing: a brainstorming map where every idea you click grows more ideas, scored so the good ones stand out. Next to it are small free tools, mostly for checking how websites look to AI assistants, and a set of the same kind of checks that AI agents can call before they act.

How it's made

With a lot of AI help, and we'd rather say so than hide it. The tools are tested before they go live and changed when people point out problems; the changelog lists what changed and why. The guides are written with AI assistance. We keep a short list of the useful ones and fix them when a reader tells us a step no longer works.

How it pays for itself

Most things are free. Heavy users of Idea Bubbles can pay for a plan, AI agents pay a cent or a few per call, and some guide pages show ads. Your maps stay in your own browser unless you choose to publish one; the privacy policy has the details.
